Sandra Seifert was born in Taipei in 1984, to a Filipino mother and a German father. Having developed an appreciation for multicultural art and fashion from an early age, she independently learned fashion design in her spare time while studying Nursing in New York.

After completing her Nursing degree in 2008, Seifert moved to the Philippines and established herself as a public figure when she was crowned Miss Philippines-Earth and Miss Earth-Air 2009. The following year, she shifted her direction from health care to entrepreneurship with a focus on swimwear design.

During a trip to Dubai, she became interested in the way Arabic women dress modestly yet stylish. She ended her swimwear venture and went on to designing modest clothing which instantly captured a wide audience of women particularly from conservative and religious backgrounds.
